What is an airsoft replica?

Airsoft replicas are devices designed to shoot biodegradable plastic BBs using different propulsion systems. Their appearance often imitates real firearms, but their use is strictly limited to regulated sporting and recreational activities.

There are different types of replicas depending on their design, power, firing system, and role on the playing field. Choosing the right replica depends on the type of game, the environment, and the player's playstyle.

  • Gas: Operate using compressed gas, commonly found in pistols.

Each system has its own advantages and disadvantages in terms of maintenance, realism, and overall performance.
